Riversong Lodge Terms and conditions

A deposit of 50% is required to confirm all reservations. This deposit is non-refundable after 24 hours. The balance of your trip is due 60 days prior to arrival at Riversong Lodge.

The trip price quoted includes payments for lodge preparations including but not limited to MatSu Borough bed tax, food and drink, guide and staff wages, and fuel.

Packages Include: the number of nights lodging and days fishing specific to your package, round trip float plane transportation between Anchorage and Riversong Lodge, 3 meals daily, deluxe cabin with full bath facilities, use of guest WIFI, fishing gear, waders and guided fishing.

Packages do NOT include: sport fishing license (Alaska Department of Fish and Game​​), fish processing, sodas and alcoholic beverages.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations and/or changes must be received in writing via email at info@riversonglodge.com

• Cancellations made within the first 24 hours of booking will be eligible for a full refund. 
• If cancelled after the initial 24 hour period, the deposit is non-refundable. 
• If cancelled within 60 days of the trip, and the balance has been made, the total amount is non-refundable.

 Cancellation fees cannot be waived for any reason, including health, business, or personal emergencies or weather. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance (details below) can provide coverage for trip cancellations, interruptions and other unexpected events.

No refunds will be given for cancellations, unused portions of a trip, no-shows, acts of God including quarantine,  Department of Fish and Game closures, flooding, thefts, failure to arrive or depart as scheduled, government restrictions or regulations or discrepancies or changes in transit or services which it has no control. Riversong Lodge reserves the right to modify an itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control.

 Deposits are  non-refundable after 24 hours except in emergency situations and  are  required  as  stated  above  to  save  the  dates of  your  trip.   Riversong Lodge Alaska LLC is not responsible for Alaska Department of Fish and Game closures as we will continue to target available species.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended that our guests take out cancellation and interruption insurance.  Global Rescue  offers worldwide  travel  protection  as  well  as  trip  interruption  or  cancellation  insurance  https://globalrescue.com/riversonglodge/index.html 

Travel guard is another option. https://www.travelguard.com/  or  feel  free  to  give  them a call (1-800-826-5248) directly.    Cross Current Insurance is another highly recommended option. https://affiliate.tmetravelinsurance.com/?referrer=MIOCRO There are many factors that can come into play when planning a remote destination trip, If you purchase within 14 days of deposit most companies offer a 100% cancel for any reason option. 

We urge you to obtain this coverage. If you choose not to purchase it, Riversong Lodge Alaska LLC cannot act as your insurance policy. you will be subject to the cancellation policy as detailed above.

Weather  Can  occasionally affect  the  scheduled  flights  or  tours.  If  due  to  weather  or  any  reason  beyond  the  control  of  Riversong  Lodge  Alaska  LLC,  Rust’s  Flying  Service  or  any  of  our  agents  and  you  are  unable  to  complete  your  itinerary  no  refund  will  be  made.  Should  you  spend  an  additional  night,  you  will  be  responsible  for  your  own  hotel  and  meal  costs. Neither  Riversong  Lodge  Alaska  LLC  or  our  agents  will  assume  any  additional  expense.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Upon sending your deposit to Riversong Lodge Alaska LLC, you acknowledge that you have read and understand all the terms and conditions outlined here and agree to her bound by them.

All trips that involve outdoor sporting activities such as fishing, boating and travel to remote places by boat, small plan or on foot put you at risk for accidents and serious injuries in the normal course of activity. That is the nature of travel to such wild and remote destination and you acknowledge that you accept these hazards as a condition of participation. 

Riversong Lodge Alaska LLC, its Owners, Employees, Associates and Agents give notice that they act only as the agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing means of transportation and/or other services including but not limited to guided fishing and assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: acts of god, delays, expense arising from quarantine, arrival or departure as scheduled, government regulations, or discrepancies in transit or hotel services which it has no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well-being of the passengers. 

Baggage and personal effects, including items purchased, fishing equipment or sporting goods are always the sole responsibility of the owner(s). No employee/agent/guide of Riversong Lodge Alaska LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliated or associated companies is authorized to accept this for storage, safekeeping, or transportation. Riversong Lodge cannot be responsible for loss, theft or breakage of any rods, reels or tackle of any kind, at any time whether in the boats or on/off the property.

  Guided Fishing Rates are  per  person, based  on  double  occupancy.

Cabins  feature  full  bath  facilities, power in cabins while  generator  is  running  “NEW in  2121“  queen  and  bunk  style  beds  to  accommodate families  or  groups  of  up  to  6  people.

includes transportation to and from Riversong Lodge, overnight accommodations, guided fishing, fishing equipment, and all meals. Deluxe cabins feature full facilities which include private bathroom and shower.  

Not included in our price are gratuities, beverages (beer, wine and soft drinks), 5% bed tax and any Matanuska-Susitna Borough taxes, fishing licenses and vacuum packing fish. If you have any questions about gratuities for the house staff and guides, please ask us. Your fishing license can be purchased at Riversong.

Day fishing accommodations includes float plane service from Anchorage via Rusts flying service, lodging, gourmet lunch, and fishing excursion with professional guides and gear.Not included in our price are gratuities, vacuum packing fish, beverages (beer, wine and soft drinks).
