| Riversong Lodge is located at
Lake Creek, a famous Alaskan fishing river offering all five
species of salmon as well as rainbow trout, arctic grayling
and northern pike. The lodge is 70 air miles northwest of
Anchorage on the southern bank of the Yentna River at the
confluence of Lake Creek. It is accessible by floatplane only.
Nestled
amongst cottonwood, birch and spruce trees, under the distant
gaze of majestic mountains, Riversong Lodge offers its guest’s
gracious comfort, award winning cuisine, superb fishing and
a warm welcome. The main lodge serves as a gathering place
for meals, entertaining, activities and relaxation. Its rustic
lodge construction, spacious decks, inviting living room,
warm stove and tasteful décor leave no doubt those
guests are deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Ten guest cabins
surround the main lodge facing the Yentna River towards Mt.
McKinley.
Guests enjoy reading on the deck, taking a walk on our interpretive
trail, relaxing in the main lodge, touring our expansive gardens
or playing card games in the bar when they aren’t out
on the river sport fishing. We offer a canoe for meandering
down Twenty Mile Slough, as well as day-floats down Lake Creek.
Our cuisine is award-winning – stop by the kitchen for
a cooking class with one of our chefs.
Travel and Leisure magazine has named Riversong Lodge one
of “25 best lodges in America”. The lodge is open
from May 15 to September 15.
